Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Institute of Statistical Studies and Research - Department of Computer and Information Sciences Summary: The aim of this work is to enhance the FDM and LFDN structure to be able to select a decision for complex decision making problem. The enhanced FDM and LFDN method should take in consideration the multi-level hierarchical structure of objectives, criteria, sub-criteria and alternatives. The two proposed method called multi-level fuzzy decision map (ML-FDM) and multi-level LFDN (ML-LFDN). A case study was carried out to demonstrate the proposed model. Also, in this study, an improved FCM with linguistic value in the form of triangular fuzzy number is proposed as a tool to predict the future state of the system
