Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Dermatology and Venerology Summary: In the present survey, 114 questionnaires were provided to a stratified random sample of gynecologists from various governorates in Egypt. Responses to the items of the questionnaire were analyzed in relation to age, qualifications (residents, specialists, consultants and professors), gender, religion, years of experience and place of practice (either governmental or private sectors). The findings hereby showed that most of the Egyptian gynaecologists evaluated both the female and her male partner. The Egyptian gynaecologists assessed males either clinically only or together with laboratory tests but very few referred the male partner to androlgists either in fertility or in sexual problems.
