Botanical Study and DNA Fingerprinting of six species of eugenia (E. jambolana, E. jambos, E. javanica, E. supra-axillaris, E. uniflora and E. aquea) were conducted. Phytochemical screening, investigation of the volatile constituents of the leaves of the six Eugenia species and identification of the major constituents by GC/MS, antimicrobial activity of the volatile constituents of the leaves of eugenia species: E. jambolana oil was the most potent oil as compared with other species, multivariate analysis of the volatile oils and antimicrobial activity of the six eugenia species, which concluded that, the PCA loading plot indicated that D-limonene, Ý-trans-ocimene, Ü-pinene, Ý-caryophyllene, Ý-elemene and Ü-selinene were the main markers, which have a marked effect on the discrimination among different Eugenia species. Investigation of the nutritional profile of the edible eugenia fruits, thus the six edible fruits of Eugenia species were found to be one of the choices of healthy food rich with proteins, carbohydrates, amino acids, vitamin C and minerals. Spectrophotometric estimation of total phenolic content, total flavonoids, total tannins and total free sugar content of the leaves and fruits of the six Eugenia species. HPLC analysis of the flavonoids and phenolic acids of the leaves and fruits of the six Eugenia species. Chemometrics and multivariate analysis of the flavonoids and other phenolic compounds of the leaves and fruits of Eugenia species, PCA was used to obtain a classification of different species based on their chromatographic data showing the correlation between them. The combination of multivariate statistical technique and HPLC data proved to be a powerful tool in the accurate discrimination and quality control of different eugenia species growing in Egypt. qualitative determination of the phenolic contents of the six Eugenia species using UPLC/MS/MS
