Targeted drug delivery can be accomplished by coating microrobots with drugs and controlling their motion to reach the sperified diseased cells. However, the small size of magnetic microrobots (<500 æm) causes difficlty in their locomotion due to the relatively large electromagnets needed to supply enough magnetic field gradient to pull them. This thesis proposes a locomotion mechanism based on driving microrobots using weak oscillating magntic fields
