The main objective of this study is to shed more light on a two main hydrocarbon bearing reservoirs (AbuRoash 2G3 and AbuRoash3C3 members) deposited in sitra field in the AbuGharadig basin during the late cretaceous, cenomanian-senonian period. This study also includes innovation approaches for interpretation and combination between both reservoirs using the integration between the geophysical and geological techniques like, seismic interpretation, facies analysis, petrophysical analysis, core and borehole imaging data that directed mainly to subsurface stratigraphy, reservoir modelling and characterization and consequently offers a great opportunity to delineate the lateral and vertical connectivity of both reservoirs to maximize the field ultimate recovery. Using new technologies like Borehole imaging in the field of exploring and developing complex reservoirs will detect the factors affecting the reservoirs behavior through time, recommend different strategies for field development through understanding reservoir characteristics, reservoir distribution and decreasing the uncertainties of volumes calculations and reserves estimation This study includes a new understanding of the depositional model of both members, and illustrates the major affecting factors that controls the behavior of these reservoirs
