Seven different species of monogenean parasites were recovered during the current study which were gonoplasius carangis, microcotyle temnodontis, neobenedenia sp.nov, haliotrema balisticus, pseudohaliotrematoides polymorphus, pseudorhabdosynochus bouaini and diplectanum sp.nov. Ten different species of digenean parasites were recovered during study which were opecoeloides furcatus, podocotyle temensis, pseudopecoeloides atherinomori, pseudocreadium spinosum, lepocreadium bimarinum, lecithochirium grandiporum, apocreadium galaicus, sterrhurus branchialis
