Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Structural Engineering Summary: Quality function deployment (QFD) is a methodology to transform the voice of the customers to the engineering requirements. In this research, the first phase of QFD which called house of quality (HOQ) is implemented in one of the newly cities in Egypt to improve the quality of similar housing projects in the city in the future. The customers{u2019} requirement had been identified and the relative importance of each one of them, two competitive cities was identified to make a comparison between the three cities. The results will help the city to determine its vision and priorities in the current stage and in the future
