This study present a thermodynamic analysis of the solar thermochemical water / carbon dioxide splitting cycles upon using Ce-Zr mixtures. A thermodynamic model is presented to measure the solar-to-Fuel efficiency of thermochemical water/carbon dioxide splitting cycles using Ce-Zr oxide mixtures and compared to pure ceria. The optimum operating conditions for each case are also illustrated
