This study focuses on losses in distribution system of district cooling (networks) by using engineering program (bentley watergems V8i),and make comparison between the case study design and different designs and show the pro and cons each design. The project has district cooling plant 27,500 TR and distribution of chilled water system length 8,500 meter and had been designed as a loop at x T equal 17F{u00B0}, then change xT to 10F{u00B0} and change the design from loop to tree though three different routing. The economic benefits of DC systems appear mainly on the reduction of operational and maintenance costs for such systems. The objective of the present study is to investigate the economic viability of DC systems. Meanwhile, the economic study has been carried out through two approaches. The first adopts the comparison between DC systems and traditional central systems, while the second compares between the economic viability of using different power sources with DC systems. The results of the present investigation indicate that, it is more economical to use DC systems operated with natural gas than using DC systems electrically operated, and DC systems are generally more economical than traditional central systems
