Cerebral palsy (CP) is caused by nonprogressive injury to immature brain and results in change in muscle tone and posture, both at rest and with voluntary activity. Spastic CP is the most common subtype, which constitutes about 70-80% patients of overall CP population. A flexion deformity of the knee and limited walking ability is most common problem in children with spastic cerebral palsy and result from spastic muscle imbalance around the knee. Hamstring tenotomy (percutaneous or open) is widely used procedure to improve walking, standing in cp patient
