Introduction: MiRNA play an important role in carcinogenesis and cancer progression specially those associated with viral infection as HCC through different pathways, one of them Wnt/Ý-catenin pathway. Aim of the work: An attempt to uncover the association between liver-related miRs with Wnt/ Ý- catenin pathway proteins in HCC patients infected with HCV. Methods: Wnt/ Ý-catenin pathway proteins were examined using IHC, total RNA [including miRs] extraction performed on samples from the same patients, real time-PCR was performed on the examined miRs, these data were correlated using SPSS for windows software. Results: 6 out of 13 miRs showed significant correlation with 3 out of 5 Wnt/ Ý-catenin pathway proteins. Conclusion: miR-10a, miR- 30e, miR-106b, miR-125b, miR-148a and miR-215 were highly associated with Wnt/ Ý-catenin pathway in HCC cases infected with HCV
