Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - National Cancer Institute - Department of Oncology (Surgical)
Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer among women. Measuring patient-reported outcomes has become increasingly important in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. Both the surgical intervention and the post operative radiotherapy have devastating effects that not only extend to every aspect of the patients{u2019} life but also her surrounding family and friends The goal of this study is to understand issues related to patient satisfaction, and quality of life in patients undergoing breast surgery, and to develop a conceptual framework to better understand the wide reaching impact of breast cancer and the surgical interventions used to treat them
