Imaging methods are an integral part of the diagnostic algorithm in chest trauma. However, Chest radiograph remains the initial screening modality of trauma patients,Multi-Detector Computed Tomography (MDCT) is the modality of choice for rapid assessment of emergency chest trauma patients, as chest X-ray in these cases has limited sensitivity with missed findings possibly dueto difficulties in obtaining good radiographic views
