Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Electrical Power and Machines
The main objective of this thesis is to study the performance of a three-phase wound rotor induction motor under healthy and some faulty conditions. The dynamics models are presented in healthy and faulty conditions. Experimental works were carried out for healthy and faulty secondary circuit to validate the simulation results. The thesis introduces a delta connection with reversed one phase to improve motor performance under opening one phase of secondary circuit
