Surgical correction (whether open or laparoscopic) remains the standard treatment of PUH. Seroma, and Hematoma, are common complications after PUH operations which need a much efforts to prevent or at least reduce their occurrence and severity. Tranexamic Acid is a synthetic derivative of the amino acid lysine that exerts an anti-fibrinolytic action, used in the prevention and treatment of excessive bleeding both in primary and secondary care. Its use in this study shows a positive impact on both post-operative seroma and hematoma
