Objectives: To study quality of life of patients with knee osteoarthritis. Patients and methods: One hundred patients with primary knee osteoarthritis diagnosed according to clinical and radiological criteria of ACR (Altman et al., 1986) and subjected to the following: Full history taking, complete clinical examination, radiography of both knees, laboratory examination and questionnaire OAKHQOL (Rat et al., 2005). Results: OAKHQOL normalized score revealed lower scores in females than males. Despite of that, these differences did not reach statistical significance. A highly statistically significant negative correlation was found between BMI, Kellgren classification, duration of disease and total score of OAKHQOL. A highly statistically significant negative correlation was found between age of patients and both of physical activity and pain parameters. There was highly statistically significant negative correlation between BMI and physical activity, pain and social support OAKHQOL parameters. There was highly statistically significant negative correlation between duration of OA and all parameters of OAKHQOL questionnaire except social support. There was highly statistically significant correlation between kellgren classification and all domains of OAKHQOL questionnaire except social functioning. Conclusion: Knee osteoarthritis has an impact on the quality of life of patients by OAKHQOL questionnaire
