This study aims to analyze two Spanish translations compared to the original text of the Noble Quran concerning the translation of synonyms. It focuses on the possible change of meanings resulted, which may affect the understanding of the original meanings of the Quran because translators may imprecisely prefer to use one or another synonym. Thus, sometimes the translator may not succeed in selecting the right synonym and consequently conveys an incorrect meaning. This study will use the contrastive methodology to analyze two translations of the Noble Quran into Spanish: Traducción de los Sentidos del Noble Corán en idioma español by Abdul-Qáder Mouheddine and Sirhan Alí Sánchez and "El Corán" by the Spanish translator Raúl González Bórnez. The investigation proposes linguistic and translation solutions and techniques that may be closer to the original meaning intended in the Quran. It also tries to maintain as much as possible the meanings of the original text (the Quran) by improving the quality level of the translation
