  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Electrical Power and Machines Engineering Summary: The stand-alone PV system is used in a rare area to supply the converted sun power to electric power to the demand load far from the grid utility. The PID controller is used to improve the performance of the DC voltage controller. Combined with the evolutionary computational techniques. Each technique is used to set optimal PID parameters. Maximum power point tracking techniques (MPPT) are used to obtain max power during all day irradiance. Comparison between PID and PI output will be discussed after applying best MPPT and the algorithms on both cases
