Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Aerospace Engineering Summary: This work deals with a boundary element model of two-dimensional rectangular re-inforced circular inclusions composite plates under in-plane loads. The model was car-ried out based on the homogenization, eigenstrain and equivalent inclusion concepts by Eshelby. An automated computer system is developed for modeling. The equivalent me-chanical isotropic properties for that composite plates are obtained and applied to in-plane finite element structures. This allows studying composite structures with deteriorating sti{uFB00}ening inclusions
