Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the adaptability, bioactivity and pH of endosequence BC sealer (BC sealer) and biodentine calcium silicate based materials in comparison to the gold slandered AH Plus sealer, a resin based sealer. Methods: Fifteen extracted human anterior teeth were prepared for adaptability evaluation using Ni-Ti ProTaper rotary files. Teeth were randomly allocated into three groups (n=5/ each material). Group 1and 3 roots were obturated using F5 gutta-percha cones with Endosequence BC and AH Plus sealers respectively, while in group 2 roots were obturated by biodentine. Obturated roots were stored at 37{u02DA} in 100% relative humidity for 7 days, and then root dentine to material interface was examined for gaps formation using scanning electron microscope. To determine bioactivity thirty root sections were filled with one of the materials (n=10/ each material) and immersed in PBS for 7and 30 days (n =15/ each period). Ca- and Si-incorporation amount into adjacent dentine was measured using an energy dispersive X-ray analysis. For pH investigation thirty root sections were prepared as mentioned in bioactivity evaluation then immersed in PBS or butyric acid for 7 days (n = 15/ each media). Results: Endosequence BC and AH Plus showed more gaps compared with Biodentine, with no significant differences among them. Biodentine released more Ca- and Si and presented more alkaline pH followed by Endosequence BC, while AH Plus showed the lowest pH and ion release. Conclusions: Biodentine was better than Endosequence BC and AH Plus in adaptability, bioactivity and pH. So it is indicaed in cases that require healing
