The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effect of a change in the tariff rates to mimic the terms of the Egyptian European Union Association Agreement and the effect it will have on consumer welfare. The paper uses a computable General Equilibrium model to measure the welfare. Mimicking the tariff rates through dividing the agreement in manufacturing an agricultural reforms for Egypt and the European Union through three scenarios where each scenario has a different level of trade protectionism than the other
