Background: Breast cancer patients suffer from many psychosocial problems due to their health condition and treatment side effects so they are in great need for psychosocial supportive care. Objectives: Evaluate the effect of psychosocial supportive developed health care model on coping and quality of life of study individuals. Materials and Method: In an interventional, study 185 patients with breast cancer assigned to interventional group and control group. The interventional group received five psychosocial supportive care sessions for 4 to 5 successive days. Both groups were assessed at recruitment, after 8 weeks. Assessment parameters were General Health, Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression and Brief Coping scale questionnaires. Results: In intervention group the psychological health profile was significantly improved (P {u02C2} 0.05), depression was significantly decreased (P {u02C2} 0.05), problem-focused, active emotional coping style subscales were significantly increased (P {u02C2} 0.05), however these changes in the control group were not improved. Conclusions: The results showed that psychosocial supportive developed health care model is an effective method in improving coping and quality of life of breast cancer patients
