Rubber and their blends are required in various industrial applications. This is due to their interesting properties. However, their low mechanical and thermal stability restricted their use in some application. On the other hand, the outstanding properties of various dimension nanomaterial attracted attention as smart reinforced nanofillers. This study reported the preparation of various styrene butadiene-nitrile butadiene rubber blend (SBR-NBR). Then different organoclay were dispersed in SBR-NBR rubber forming nanocomposites. The mass ratio of organoclay was varied and optimized. The dispersion of organoclay sheets was investigated. The intercalation of dispersed organoclay sheets was elucidated using X-ray diffraction and dispersion was confirmed using SEM. The mechanical and thermal properties were studied and improved. The tensile strength of the new nanocomposites achieved 17% improvement compared to blank rubber blend
