Background: Correction of deep bite problem through intrusion of maxillary incisors is done by several accepted treatment modalities but there are no evidence of which of these treatment modalities provide the most effective method of incisor intrusion in short treatment time. Objective: To determine the treatment duration and the speed of upper incisors intrusion using mini-screws versus segmented arches in adult deep bite patients, through the performance of a systematic review to search and critically appraise the quality of the evidence available, based on a sound inclusion and exclusion criteria. Search Strategy: Electronic search was done up to 22\11\2016 in (CENTRAL Cochrane register of controlled trials, PubMed, SCOPUS and LILACS). Grey literature was also searched electronically through Google Scholar and Egyptian University Library Consortium (EULC). Hand searching was performed on American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AJO-DO), European journal of orthodontics (EJO), Angle orthodontist, Reference list of the finally included studies and Cairo dental journal. Selection Criteria: The following criteria were for studies to be included in this systematic review: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs), Controlled clinical trials (CCTs), Published and unpublished literature and Studies included from the year 2000.
