Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture - Department of Economic Entomology and Pesticides Summary: Comparative bioassay of four insecticides Dinotefuran, Thiamethoxam, acetamiprid and Flometoquin compared with Beauveria bassiana against Bemisia tabaci (Genn.) and Aphis craccivora (Koch.( according to LC50 values, acetamiprid was the most toxic insecticides against Aphids with LC50 1.941 ppm followed by Flometoquin (2.1635 ppm), thiamethoxam (2.72 ppm) and then dinotefuran (3.78 ppm). the tested insecticides against whitefly adults were arranged according to the LC50 values descendingly as flometoquin, dinotefuran, acetamiprid, thiamethoxam and then Beauveria bassiana. The field experiments were carried out in the experimental station of the Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University during seasons 2015 and 2016 under greenhouse conditions. Results showed that, the tested insecticides were able to keep the percentage of reduction in infestation of white fly nymphs more than 70% except the entomopathogenic fungi, which gave 27.32% only., the highest effectiveness was found with Flometoquin. on the other hand, dinotefuran were more effective in decreasing number of A. craccivora adults than other treatments after two days of application in field evaluation. While the fungal entomopathogen was Beauveria bassiana the least one. There are no differences between the efficacy of tested insecticides in the evaluation seasons 2015 and 2016
