Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Physical Therapy - Department of Basic Science Summary: Objective: was to evaluate the anthropometric measures, 3 cervical angles and root mean square (RMS) of cervical muscles in MNP as well as asymptomatic individuals. Methods: A total of 77 participants their ages ranged from 18 to 23 years were recruited in this study, including; 43 subjects complaining of MNP and, 34 asymptomatic subjects. Outcome measures included anthropometric measures(head depth, head width, head circumference, neck length, neck girth, neck circumference, biacromial width, rounded right and left shoulder) measured via anthropometer, tape measurement and ruler. Also, 3 cervical angles (Oc-C₂, C₁-C₂, and C₂-C₇) measured via digital x-ray imaging. Additionally, electrical activity of the upper trapezius (UT), cervical erector spinae (CE), sternocleidomastoid (SCM) and anterior scalene (AS) muscles was recorded by EMG device
