Objectives: This is a cross sectional observational study done on 25 patients of MM and lymphoma who underwent ASCT at NEMROCK aiming to assess the early results and complications. Methods: Twenty five patients with MM and chemosensitive lymphoma underwent ASCT (one case was excluded during conditioning). All patients were younger than 65 years old and met the eligibility criteria for ASCT at the NEMROCK. Results: Three regimens were used for mobilization; HD endoxan, HD chemotherapy and plerixafor. There was no significant difference in the yield between the 3 regimens. The amount of stem cell yield was higher in cases of MM than lymphoma. Failure of mobilization developed in 8.3% of cases. In a trial to decrease the complications encountered during mobilization; the dose of endoxan was reduced without affecting the stem cell yield yet decreasing the platelets and PRBCS requirements. Neutropenic fever developed in 50% of cases and was controlled in most cases on D2.Other complications seen were; diarrhea GI-II (54%), nausea GI (29%), oral mucositis GII (12.5%), permicath infection (12.5%) and vomiting GI (4.1%).The early results showed that 19 patients are still under follow. One patient has relapsed and still alive and 4 patients have died (3 due to DP and 1 due to TRM
