Topical 0.03% Tacrolimus is capable of significantly managing symptomatic OLP lesions over 4 week period.Topical 0.03% Tacrolimus is as equally efficient in the control of OLP as 0.1 % triamcinolone acetonide. Topical 0.03% Tacrolimus can be considered a successful alternative for topical corticosteroids in the management of OLP lesions and in patients where corticosteroids are contraindicated
