In addition, psychological concern related to sexual functions in tramadol patients had not enough attention,so that, the primary treatment may involve psychosexual therapy. Subjects & methods: 60 subjects (30 tramadol dependent men & 30 matched controls).Patients were assessed by semi-structured psychiatric interview with emphasis on sexual and substance history. The sample were subjected to psychometric assessment including:International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) (for assessment of erectile function, orgasmic function, sexual desire, intercourse satisfaction, and overall satisfaction), and Sexuality Scale (For assessment of sexual esteem, sexual depression, and sexual preoccupation). Results:tramadol patients were found to have significantly decreased different sexual functions; including erectile function, orgasmic function, sexual desire, intercourse satisfaction, and overall satisfaction in comparison to controls (p=.000for all parameters). Sexual depression scores were found significantly higher in tramadol patients compared to controls (p=.020). Sexual-esteem and sexual preoccupation scores were significantly lower in tramadol patients compared to matched controls (p=.000 & p=.046). In addition, many relevant results related to sexuality in tramadol dependent men were found
