Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of E.N.T Summary: Background Injection laryngoplasty (IL) continues to evolve as new techniques, approaches and injection materials are continuously being developed. Although it was performed under general anesthesia in the operating room, IL is now increasingly being performed in an office-based setting. Methods aim of this prospective interventional study was to compare between functional outcomes and patient satisfaction, this study included 20 patients with unilateral vocal fold paralysis or patients with dysphonia caused by glottal gaps which was resistant to medical treatment or voice therapy and will proceed to injection laryngoplasty by permanent material. Analysis using C.S.L (computerized speech lab) to evaluate Jitter, shimmer, and harmonic to noise ratio
