Background: Dysphagia is not an uncommon symptom in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients, with prevalence ranged from 10% to 90% of subjects based on the dysphagia criteria and diagnostic techniques. Aim of work: Tto evaluate neurogenic dysphagia in MS patients using endoscopic study and to correlate that to MS types, severity, duration, and imaging modalities. Subjects and methods: This study included patients with clinically definite multiple sclerosis according to the revised McDonald diagnostic criteria for multiple sclerosis 2017, within a definite time interval which were a sum of 100 patients; who were divided into study and control groups according to dysphagia in multiple sclerosis questionnaire (DYMUS). All patients in this study were submitted to clinical assessment, expanded disability status scale (EDSS), DYMUS, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) brain with contrast; study group patients were also subjected to dysphagia handicap Index (DHI) and flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES). Results: Prevalence of neurogenic dysphagia in our study was 30%. Study group patients showed statistically significant older age, longer disease duration, higher number of MS attacks, more association with progressive MS types, and worse clinical scores (EDSS, DYMUS) compared to control group patients
