Transcranial direct current stimulation is a non invasive brain stimulation improving cognitive impairment. Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of transcranial direct current stimulation on improving cognitive functions in stroke patients. Subjects and Methods: Forty male stroke patients were included in this study. Patient{u2019}s age ranged from 40-60 years.The patients were divided into two equal groups (A and B). Group (A) was treated with transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in combination with selected cognitive training program (by Rehacom). Group (B) was treated with sham transcranial direct current stimulation in combination with the same cognitive training program (by Rehacom). Patients were evaluated by Mini Mental state examination (MMSE), functional independence measure (FIM) and Rehacom system (attention and concentration, figural memory, logical reasoning and reaction behavior) before and after treatment
