Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Orthopaedic Surgery Summary: Humeral shaft fractures are one of the common fractures. There are various methods to treat humeral fractures. High energy fractures result in increased damage to soft tissues and thus requiring long union time. Minimal invasive percutaneous pate osteosynthesis (MIPPO) is a good procedure where biologic fixation can be offered to the patient with minimal complications. MIPPO with Locking compression plate (LCP) is a safe and effective technique for fixation of diaphyseal humeral fractures, and results in faster bone union, better cosmesis, and better rehabilitation. The aim of this work is to assess results (MIPPO) using (LCP) for treatment of humeral shaft fractures
