Introduction: Ever since Karl Landsteiner discovered blood groups and Rh factor and there have been many attempts to find a relation between blood groups and various diseases. Over the years many authors have found relations between diseases and blood groups.Aim: This study was conducted to determine whether a specific blood group is a risk factor for developing skeletal malocclusion (Skeletal Class II and Skeletal Class III) Materials and methods: The patients were recruited for six months from 1st February to 1st of August 2017. Total number of 212 patients were recruited. All patients were examined clinically then radiographed to measure the Wits appraisal. They were allocated into 3 groups according to Wits appraisal, Skeletal Class I patients (84) with Wits appraisal (0±1mm), Skeletal Class II patients (76) with Wits appraisal more than 1mm and Skeletal Class III (52) patients with Wits appraisal less than 1 mm
