Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Physics
During the study, reduced graphene was obtained by reducing the graphene oxide (GO) by gamma radiation. In addition, samples of radiation reduced graphene (RRGO) were obtained at different reduction grades and compared with the chemically reduced (CRGO) sample. The electrical conductivity values of these samples were based on the irradiation dose and reached a value close to that of the CRGO. Moreover, the thermal stability of the reduced graphene samples with radiation was higher than that reduced chemically. The results demonstrated the validity and efficiency of the use of RRGO in the field of supercapacitor. Moreover, the electrochemical and electrical properties of polyaniline material have been enhanced by addition of RRGO. Finally, the use of RRGO was used to make transparent conductive films
