Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Endodontics Summary: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the bond strength ofiRoot SPand Adseal sealers, under wet and dry conditions of root canals and with the use of two different irrigating solutions. Each tooth was decoronated 2 mm coronal to the cemento-enamel junction (CEJ) to ease straight line access for instrumentation and obturation. Proper access was established and working length was determined. After that, preparation of the root canals were done up to size F3 ProTaper system. The root canals were irrigated with 2mL 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) between each file size and the next. After preparation, the root canals were irrigated with 17% EDTA for 1 minute followed by rinsing with 5mL saline solution to remove all chemicals and dried with paper points. The results of this study showed that, the subgroup treated with distilled water irrigation, dry canal and withiRoot SP sealer, recoded statistically highest push out bond strength compared to others. However, there was no statistically significant difference between subgroup treated with distilled water irrigation, wet canal and withiRoot SP sealer
