Background: Shoulder impingement syndrome (SIS) is the most common cause of shoulder pain. Weight training places shoulder in unfavorable positions such as end-range external rotation while under heavy loads, creating joint and muscle imbalances and predisposing the shoulder to injury. Porpuse: this study was to evaluate differences amoung three physical therapy programs in treatment of impingment syndrome in bodybuilding players. Subjectes and methods:45 patients (25-40 years old) with impengiment syndrome selected from athletes participating in practice body-building. Patients were randomly assigned into three groups (15 patients in each group).Outcoms: posterior capsule tightness (PCT), glenohumeral internal rotation deficit (GIRD), dyskinesis (type2) and rotator cuff strength were assessed using Hand held dynamometer, goniometer and tape measurement before and after 4 weeks of treatment. Result : There was a statistical significant difference between the three groups post one month of intervention in external rotator strenrngth (P=0.034), lower trapezius strength (P=0.005) and scapular load test (dayskinesis) (P=0.214). the diffrences was to the favor of group C .Although all groups had a significal improvemrnt post treatment in all other measured parameters ,but there was no statistical significal diffrenceses between the three groups (P>0.05)
