The aim of this study to evaluate the seismic response modification factor of studied systems with transfer slab that are designed according to the Egyptian code and based on nonlinear static analysis (Pushover Analysis) by SAP 2000 Software. This study used two groups, the different between them is the value of live load, live load factor and importance factor. Each group has two systems, where the distances between the typical floors{u2019} columns above transfer slab are less than the distances between the first floor{u2019}s columns under the transfer slab for each system. It was found that the seismic response modification factor values of group (a) is higher than group (b). Also the most of the seismic response modification factor values of the first system (M1) for each group is less than the second system (M2) for each group for all models with the same number of storeys. It was used two methods of idealization of pushover analysis curve. It was used also 5 models without the transfer slab (M3) to make a comparison
