Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Inorganic Chemistry Summary: New binary and ternary complexes of isatin drug (ISA; 1H-indole-2,3-dione) as primary ligand, N,N,N{u2032},N{u2032}-tetramethylethylene diamine (TMEDA) and 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen) as secondary ligands with some transition metal ions were prepared. The metal complexes were synthesized and characterized using different physico-chemical studies as elemental analyses, melting point, UV/Visible, IR, mass spectra, electronic spectra, magnetic susceptibility, conductivity measurements and thermal analyses (TG and DTG)
