In the present study, four halophytic bacteria isolates wereidentifiedand were characterized depending on the cell morphology and 16S rRNA gene sequencing.These isolates were identified as Halomonas elongata, Cobetia marina,Virgibacillus species and Staphylococcus saprophyticus. The strains Halomonas elongatastrainECTC/RF, Cobetia marina strainNew Alix 5 andVirgibacillus species strain Rr Alix3 accumulates Ectoine under high salinity condition
