Percent of isolation greatly different in each method as in conventional method culture percent were 9.3% from apparently healthy., 15.3% from pneumonic lungs of slaughtered animals, and 12 % nasal swabs of diseased animals with total recovery rate 13.0 %. While the Direct-PCR approaches While, by the Direct-PCR approaches. The direct PCR on samples detection percent were 16.0 % ,13.3 % & 22.0% from nasal swabs of healthy , diseased and pneumonic lung tissues, respectively .And direct PCR on preselective broth detection percent were (12.0%) from apparently healthy, (24.0%) from diseased animals and( 48.6%) from emergency slaughtered sheep and it is the highest detection rate (33.3%) of P. multocida in comparison to other two methods
