Cancer is a grave problem. Searching for treatment from plants is vital. The aim of this study is to estimate the phytochemical constituents, antioxidants, and the cytotoxic activities of the ethanol extracts of nine different plants distributed in the Northwestern coast of Egypt on human tumor cell lines liver (HEPG-2), breast (MCF-7), and colorectal (CACO-4). The plant produced the highest cytotoxic action undergo fractionation using different polar solvents (chlorophorm, petroleum ether, ethyl acetate, and methanol). All the fractions are investigated against their cytotoxic action on the same cell lines. The fraction produced the highest action undergo Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry to show its components. Preparation of chitosan nanoparticles (CNPs) and chitosan nanoparticles loaded with the fraction (CNPsEAF) that produced the highest cytotoxic action by ionic-gelation method followed by their characterization using XRD, TEM, and Zeta Potential. The cytotoxic action of chitosan nanoparticles (CNPs) and chitosan nanoparticles loaded with the fraction (CNPsEAF) on the same cell lines were evaluated
