Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Radio-diagnosis Summary: The aim of the study is to assess the renal-Doppler parameters changes in acute glomerulonephritis in correlation with pathological findings.Methods: renal ultrasound and Duplex examination of 20 patients diagnosed with acute glomerulonephritis ,was performed by low frequency (2-5MHz) probe, and was correlated with clinical and pathological data.Results: renal ultrasound and Duplex is an effective method in the evaluation of acute glomerulonephritis.Conclusion: renal ultrasound and Duplex examination can be used in assessment of acute glomerulonephritis. RI index of the main renal artery can predict creatinine level and severity of renal dysfunction
