Background: Persons with mechanical LBP were more likely to have a decrease in dorsiflexion and an increase in navicular drop. However, the available literature on the link between LBP and foot posture, particularly excessive pronation, has not been examined adequately from a biomechanical and mechanistic perspective. Determine the prevalence of flat foot among patients with mechanical low back pain will aid in prevention of mechanical LBP and decrease the burden that comes from money and time lost spent to treat such cases. Purpose: to determine the prevalence of flat foot among patients with mechanical low back pain. Methods: Two hundred and twenty five patients suffered from mechanical LBP were selected from Luxor and Aswan, their age ranged from 18 to 40 years and their body mass index (BMI) was ranged from 18 to 25 kg/m2.Mechanical Inflammatory Low Back Pain Index was conducted on the recruited participant Then the patients with results of (Very High Mechanical Component) included in the study. And followed the navicular drop test procedure. Analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics. The data analyzed using (SPSS) for Windows version 20.The x2_ test was used to examine the association between variables .P_ value less than 0.05 was used
