Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of General Surgery Summary: New technologies have been developed in an attempt to improve liposuction, such as laser. The objective of this study is efficacy of laser-assisted liposuction (LAL) compared to traditional brachioplasty techniques. Thirty patients were included in our study, 15 patients in each group. Objective and subjective measures were used in assessment of results. Laser liposuction showed comparable results in grade IIb with higher patient satisfaction
