Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Radio-diagnosis Summary: This study was done to evaluate the Role of Automated breast ultrasound and tomosynthesis in detection and diagnosis different dense breast lesions and also for early detection of breast cancer. It was conducted on thirty-one female patients presented with different breast lesions either benign or malignant in different group ages. This study confirmed that addition of automated breast ultrasound to tomosynthesis is an effective method to give better diagnosis and differentiation of dense breast lesions which will allow better and accurate management and reduced mortality rates
