Background&Aim: Low back pain (LBP) is a global well documented health problem. It is the primary reason for seeing doctors and jobs sick leaves. The aim of the study was to identify the difference between the McKenzie Diagnosis and Treatment approach (MDT) and the Kinetic control retraining on the chronic low back pain with radiculopathy. Study design: single blinded randomized controlled trial. Methods:Sixty patients from both sexes diagnosed of having chronic low back pain with radiculopathy(age from 25-50 years) participated in the study. The patients were randomly allocated into three equal groups: Group (A) received the kinetic control retraining with the selected physical therapy program. Group (B) received the McKenzie treatment method with the same selected physical therapy program. Group (C) (control group) received the selected physical therapy program only which included: Lumbar stabilization exercises (LSE), Trans-cutaneuos electric nerve stimulation (TENS), moist heat, neural glide and lumbar manipulation. All the patients were assessed using McKenzie assessment sheet for determining the direction preference, inclinometer for trunk ROM, Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) for disability, PainDETECT questionnaire (PD-Q) for neuropathic pain and visual Analogue Scale (VAS) for pain intensity. The treatment duration for all groups was three sessions per week foreight weeks with one hour per session
