Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty Of Science - Department Of Geology Summary: The statistical analyses delineate that Gaza Strip is divided into five clusters The clusters showed that the lowest nitrate and TDS concentrations includes cluster A , which is located in the northern area , whereas cluster E is distinguished by high concentrations of nitrate and TDS located in the southeastern part There is a good coincidence between geographical position of the clusters with high rainfall area and statistical output Aquachem program clarify that the area is supersaturated with respect calcite and dolomite except in the sand dunes areas in the southwest and in the north , it is undersaturated as a result of high infiltration Anhydrite and gypsum are undersaturation in the study area Principal factor analyses classified into three factors , factor 1 includes EC , TDS , pH , Na+ , Cl{u00AF} and SO42{u00AF} (Anthropogenic) , factor 2 includes Ca2+ , Mg2+and NO3{u00AF} (Fertilizers) , factor 3 includes HCO3{u00AF} and K+ (Leaching)
