Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture - Department of Vegetable Summary: This investigation was divided into two experiments which were conducted in an open field at the experimental station of Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo university to examine the effect of the copper and magnesium chlorophylline and its nano compsites (silver and graphene) with two concentrations (10-3 and 10-4ml/L) on some productivity and quality characters of spring onion and cucumber and malathione was used as control. First experiment: It was performed during two successive winter seasons of 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 to examine the effect of previous compounds on reduction% of Thrips tabaci, plant growth, chlorophyll content ,total soluble solids, marketable yield, nutrient content and leaves anatomy structure of spring onion. The results showed that the highest concentration (10-3) of Cu-chl/Ag induced the highest reduction % in both seasons (77.7 and 76.0%, respectively) relative to control. The foliar spray with Cu-Chl/Ag 10-3 had the highest value of chlorophyll content (30.74 and 31.87 mg/g) in both seasons. Total soluble solids were increased with the highest concentration(10-3) of Cu-chl/Ag that reached to 8.83% in the first season and 7.86% in the second season . Treatment with 10-3 concentration of Cu-chl/Ag and Cu-chl/ Go had the highest marketable yield in both seasons (42.03and 43.28 %) and (23.86 and 45.03%, respectively). Cu-chl/Ag 10-3 increased the length of palaside cell and copper content. The spony cell became larger and succulent in malathione treatment. Second experiment: It was performed during two successive summer seasons of 2015 and 2016 to examine the effect of the previous compounds on reduction% of Bemisia tabci, leaf chlorophyll content, yield and its component and chemical composition of cucumber fruits
