The main objective of this study is to throw light on the stratigraphic and tectonic framework in addition to hydrocarbon-bearing sequences in East tiba sub-basin (ETSB). The study area is located to the northeast of Abu Gharadig basin, western desert, Egypt. The ETSB is evolved through a complex tectono-stratigraphic history with complex phases of tectonic evolution. It was initially as an intracratonic rift basin during the Early jurassic time and continued its subsidence throughout the cretaceous time and superposed by wrench tectonics during lattermost cretaceous and Early paleogene, with a NE oriented half-graben structural geometry. Detailed seismic interpretation using 3D seismic profiles integrated with a complete suite of the geological well data is applied to improve understanding the basin fill and its corresponding hydrocarbon potentiality. Constructed structure contour maps of significant seismic horizons regarding the near top Khoman, Abu Roash "C" and "F" members, Bahariya and Wadi Elnatrun formations. The study area underwent three main tectonic events superimposed each other: (1) extension related to the opening of the tethys during jurassic-early cretaceous with a direct impact on the presence and maturity of source rock and trap formation, (2) wrenching and inversion related to the closing of the tethys in the late cretaceous-early tertiary and (3) younger extensional phase that reactivated during the miocene and post-miocene age
